The vegetable lasagna was delicious, the sea food salad was superb, however the tiramisu was awful. I can't remember the name of the sea food pasta that we ordered but it wasn't good either. I went to Alfredo's for the first time today because of the rave reviews I have read and it did NOT disappoint! I tried the pizza and the spaghetti and meatballs. The taste is authentic Italian and SO fresh! The sauce they use is delicious! Alfredo himself is so friendly and and kind. He makes you feel right at home! I just wish that there was more of a seating area since I live kind of far to come and get it for take-out (which is the main business they do). I would highly recommend Alfredo's Place to anyone who loves authentic Italian food! Lire plus

This little treasure in Streetsville offers excellent Italian food at very reasonable prices. We have been there many times, and the food is consistently delicious.The service at times can be a bit slow, however the meals well worth the wait. We have also called in orders for pick up, and the food is yummy whether you eat in or take out. I delivered menu's to neighbours and friends when the restaurant first opened up as we feel it is the best Italian restaurant in Streetsville, and if it were located a bit down the street, folks would notice it more and likely drop in, well worth the visit. On the outside, this place looks "meh" but walk in and it is lovely and charming and CLEAN. We didn't feel like Italian but we thought we would take a chance on a basic burger, fries and coca cola. There is nothing basic about this burger. It was fresh and made with love and the fries were freshly cut and perfecto.I could see part of the kitchen from where we sat and it was as clean as my mama's kitchen. Next test was the bathroom. As I guessed, it was clean! Waitress was lovely and efficient. The portion was generous, so much so that I could not finish my meal so she boxed it up and the burger tasted phenomenal even the next day. What is your secret? Only recommendation, update the exterior to reflect interior. The interior should eventually be updated but the fact that it was clean made me jump for joy!! Lire plus

This is my regular takeaway pizza joint - really tasty pizza, generous toppings and interesting flavours. In a world filled with bad chain pizza places, it is refreshing to have a small ON owned chain restaurant (I believe they have a couple of other locations in woodbridge) that serves good pizza - no more pan fried greasy poor quality pizza for me. Not because we live here, because of the food, the service, the friendly atmosphere and the cleanliness of this establishment. Their Fusilli in Bianco is our favorite. We have dined there many times before Oshawa Generals Hockey games and Shows at the newly renovated Regent Theatre. And we are so proud to mention Avanti's everywhere we go. Upon returning to the Niagara area in 2015 & 30years later, I continue to enjoy the Barrel weekly with my kids, whether it is eating in or delivery! We have come every year in December from Hamilton to Simcoe to see the Christmas lights. We stop at the Barrel Restaurant first, and it is a highlight of our trip: excellent food, excellent atmosphere. There is a very large menu, so I know people can order what they want and sometimes get something different from what they want. Suffice to say that I find the Penne Capri on par with meals served in Italy, and my husband and in-laws refuse to order anything other than the lasagna because they enjoy it so much every time. Mike the owner of Bella Notte has done a fabulous job on making such a quiant atmosphere. He has pictures on the walls of him and the generations before him and this is Italian history at its finest. I really enjoy supporting the local businesses in my neighbourhood and this one is very easy to become a regular at. The food is amazing and is a great substitute for downtown Toronto dining. Bella Notte provides fresh food with unique flavors, it has a great wine selection, and always friendly service. You will need to expect however that on the weekends especially, it will be veryyyyy busy and the service may be slower than usual (standard for any restaurant really), so my advice to you is to purchase a great bottle of wine and enjoy the night with your loved ones. This establishment really gives you the time to enjoy your meal, wine and conversation which is not something done at your run of the mill franchises. For a great dining experience and a taste of Italy, I highly recommend it! Lire plus

Arrived late, cook had left but as we just left without food, the owner and his wife invited us back in and his chef wife made wonderful chicken Alfredo and done in seemingly minutes. The service was worth the trip alone and the delicious portions filled this 270 pound (123kg) hearty eater. The waiter, Ray, extremely nice and the owner introduced wife after we finished. I just had to come home from my great dinner tonight in Bayfield and share my fantastic experience at this hidden gem called Davincis. Apparently this used to be a Cafe but the Owners have expanded their menu and now serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had no idea they were fully licensed!! The dinner we had tonight in the Garden Patio was by far the best I've had in Bayfield. I enjoyed a beautiful poached salmon with a lemon dill sauce, my partner had a huge lamb shank and our friends had the ribs from the Friday BBQ Menu. They boasted that they were fall off the bone ribs. We all were very pleased with our dinners and topped it off by sharing the delicious strawberry rhubarb pie and carrot cake.
