Receptionist confirmed the appointment but upon arrival found out there was none scheduled. Very unprofessional and upsetting given that I wasted my day off for this appointment. The temporary location 34 Madison Avenue is a house with NO SIGN, an indicator of how unprofessional it is.

I loved the working hours (until 7pm)and the fact that I could just walk-in. The location is convenient too(I work close by).

Great experience!!! The service was very professional. They sent over my results in a matter of 2 days; which is crazy fast in the medical world. At first I felt skeptical about going to this clinic due to the negative feedback in the previous comments, but they are nothing more than false acclimations. Recommend, recommend, recommend.

The service provided by this clinic is fantastic; I would absolutely recommend to get an ultrasound done here. Not only are the staff friendly but highly professional and courteous. One of their major advantages that trump other clinics is that they are opened in the evenings! As a working man, I simply cannot afford to take the time off; so having the option to go in the evening is great. Once again; highly recommend.

WARNING!

AVOID AT ALL COST! I just have to warn people about this place. The short story is, they are UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE, boredring on criminal. I would NEVER GO BACK. Now the long story: As soon as I got to this place I was uncomfortable, as the receptionist was very loud when talking to me regarding what I need done (ultrasound of the muscles of the pelvis and abdomen for a sports injury). As I sat waiting, I noticed a very young couple (maybe 16-17 years old) sitting close by. They were holding hands and whispering to each other and looked absolutely mortified. The receptionist came to talk to them (in a loud voice) explaining all the personal details of the ultrasound. The young man, bless his ignorance, asked if inserting the probe will hurt the baby. The receptionist laughed (loudly) and explained in most crude terms that it won't. The couple was now near tears (I'm not joking). Finally, I got called in. The technician was teh most miserable, unprofessional, rudest person I have ever seen. He said to me, "lay down on the bed and pull your pants down." No gown, no paper to cover up, no explanation of what will be done. He just asked me what I needed, without even looking at my doctor's instructions. He then squirted that jelly and smudged it all over my stomach and lower abdomen without putting any paper to protect my shirt/bra and pants/underwear from gettin covered in it. By the end, my clothes were soaked in that stuff. Once he was done (it only took 5 min, and I'm pretty sure he did not do a thorough job), he threw a roll of paper towels to me and said, "Clean yourself off" and left the room leaving the door wide open while I'm laying there with my pants down and shirt up. I've never been so humiliated in my life.

Dear Reviewer4, We appreciate the time you took to write the review, as we take every comment & complaint very seriously at Toronto Ultrasound Imaging. After seen your review, we did a thorough investigation going back as far as 5 month, looking for a date when this incident could have occurred. You described a young couple (16-17 years old) with a possible pregnancy, we checked all the female patients between the ages of 10 to 23 in past 5 month, none of them were in our clinic for an obstetrical or a pelvic ultrasound with an endovaginal ultrasound (i.e. internal examination). Although, as of mid September our office has a new receptionist, we had nothing but positive feedback about the previous receptionist. With regards to your ultrasound being very short: each case requires different amount of time. For some patients it seems very short, but the most important part of ultrasound exam is the quality of images. The quality of every study in our clinic is controlled by leading specialists in diagnostic imaging of St. Michael’s Hospital. At the moment we haven’t received any rejections or complaints from the radiologists. We would appreciate more details about the date of your exam to ensure that if this has taken place proper measurements are taken.
