Serving a sought-out all-day breakfast has been instrumental to Aziza's success over the years; after all, breakfast is great at every hour, isn't it?
"All of the food is prepared on-site, and we make everything ourselves, from the salad dressing to the bread. It's important for me to offer homemade food, it's not something you'll find in a lot of breakfast restaurants," says owner Adelina Fonseca. Her passion for cuisine inspired her to open her own restaurant. "We also serve heart-warming soups, a great selection of sandwiches (our brie, avocado and chicken sandwich is a big hit) and gourmet salads too. For breakfast, the eggs benedict are great.”
Growing up on a farm where there was no running water and no electricity meant that Adelina quickly learned to prepare food using her own two hands. "I learned to cook at a young age, and we had to make everything from scratch,” she explains. “It was important to me that this culinary heritage would be reflected in Aziza Café, hence us preparing everything we serve ourselves.”
