I thought it was a little pricey at first but when I seen the portions I was impressed. We had breakfast there quite a few times now and highly recommend it!
Had the grill cheese and homefries, both good.
Waitress was friendly and adept.
Only thing that was a downer was the times; despite being named "Sunset" Grill, they never are open to setsun. Latest is 3:30 - 4:30, so you cannot get breakfast for supper.
Besides that, it has always been a pleasant eat in location.
My scrambled eggs were fluffy & instead of homefries I got a few slices of tomatoe. Hubbys ham was fairly thick & he enjoyed the potatoes. nice waitress, nice place, I will definatly go back.
Every time I come here it seems to get worse and worse. Portion sizes seem smaller and smaller (aside from the bacon). My over easy eggs seem to come raw often here.
Setting is nice, because it's new and well... it's a franchise.
However the food here is generally okay. Ham slices are nice and thick. Bacon portions are generous. Egg's Benedict wasn't the greatest, hollandaise was somewhat separated and had too much lemon juice . Home Fries are decent. Egg's are somewhat small. Coffee is acceptable. Pancakes are good.
The server's here must get treated well by the establishment because they're always smiling and friendly. They treat my kid's very kindly as well and give them some attention, which makes me very happy.
I came here on a Thursday morning and they only had one server to attend to approximately 9 tables and she was doing extremely well being that overworked. I mentioned something to the manager but he kind of laughed it off.
Any place that has REALL MAple Syrup Deserves my Kudo's ! Breafast was well woth waiting for ! Food was hot and service was quicker than expected ! AND REASONABLY PRICED !
