We had excellent care for a major surgery. The doctor was very thorough and explained the details.
As others noted, it can be expensive.
However, this is an emergency facility, and does not have the subsidies that human health care does.
If you need regular pet care, go to a standard vet, but anything beyond that costs money.
Thats the reality of pet health care, and ownership. And why it is generally recommended to purchase pet insurance or save for these emergency situations.

Our 8 -month old Aussiedoodle had his first grooming today at Tidy Tails. The ladies went above and beyond today. The grooming was excellent and I highly recommend them!

If anyone is looking for a Vet in Victoria, Dr. Eric Wilkening at Mckenzie Vets is amazing! I had to take my kitty Emma, who is 14, in for surgery and I was concerned with having her under anesthesia. He was compassionate, caring, completely through, and transparent in what was going to happen during surgery. He relieved any nervousness I had about the surgery. Emma recovered so well and her sutures were amazingly done. Truthfully, Dr. Wilkening is one of the best Vets I’ve ever seen.

Thank you Dr. Brar for your knowledge and practice of both western and eastern medicine. In 2010 we took our staffordshire bull terrier to Dr. Brar. She had been very ill a number of times during her life. Last week after an active, happy life, Tuco was put down following an injury. Tuco would have been 14 years old in October. Thank you Dr. Brar for your kindness, your care and your expertise. Thank you to your staff for always finding an appointment, and helping in any way needed.

Rascals is such a treasure! From the moment you walk in the door you are warmly greeted and made to feel you and your business are very appreciated. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their products and happy to answer all questions. The store is very well laid out and well stocked and very easy to navigate. I love the bulk treat section which allows me to try many different products in small amounts! The toy section is big fun! My boys love Rascals and so do we!

On short notice Wendy made a change to her busy schedule to accommodate my dog Wren he is a poodle/cairn terrier and if any of you dont know they are very skittish naturally i mean a he runs from leaves. But in a manner of minutes Wendy had gained his confidence and to my amazement he took to her like he known her all his life and the price was very reasonable price. Our dogs have been boarding at Pet Pampering when we are out of town for years now, and they are very happy there. The staff are great and the setting allows them to socialize, but also to be alone when they need time out from the others.

Dr. Baer has been my vet since 2005. She has always treated my cats in a gentle and respectful way. Some vets in my experience appeared to view my cat as a money-making machine, but never Dr. Baer. To her, my cat is a patient and also a little, furry person. I deeply appreciate Dr. Baer. She will always be my cats' doctor, for as long as she remains in business.

I think I had the owner Rachel walk my dog, and I gotta say, I really like her! You can tell she’s in this business for the right reasons: the dogs. I’m actually going to purchase one of the bundle packages because I noticed that not only is my dog getting good exercise, but also her behavior is improving dramatically! I think having her walk with multiple dogs at a time is really helping her social development. All-in-all, I gotta say this is a great service. I’ll definitely be a repeat cust!
