Food was reasonably good, but nothing to rave about or complain about either. Portion sizes were a little large. We were on the patio which was fine, but the chairs were back-breakingingly awful and the patio and tables sort of gave the impression that things weren't all that clean. Wait staff was reasonably attentive but not overly friendly. The overall impression was one of a cramped, crowded space both inside and on the patio -too bad they couldn't expand their space. This was a sigularly phenomenal experience. All of our food was lick-your-plate excellent. I love their investment in local food producers. Their housemade breads, butters, pastas totally show it. We also were treated to a random complimentary amuse-bouche of a pork terrine with caramelized onions on crostini. Vanilla creme brulee was the single best creme brulee I've ever had--PERFECTLY burnt sugar. Truly amazing prices for food this good. ONLY down thought? Cocktails are expensive and taste like actual booze. Given that I'm normally a fruity liqour drinker, they were hard drinks to swallow! A connaisseur might feel differently. Excellent service, wonderful warm urban setting. The food was great, amazing quality ingredients at good value. Our only complaint is that the menu is very limited - which is a bit problematic for with some with food sensitivities. I do understand that the restrictions permit us to be rewarded with quality ingredients. If there were a just a few more choices I would have awarded this venue 5 stars plus. Lire plus

A bit pricey, but really a wonderful experience overall. One thing to note is the two-hour limit on dining, which is best to know about in advance.
