Elio Shamirian, owner of Design Scape, loves to make art. But unlike a painter or sculptor, yards and gardens are his canvas, and plants, fences, patios and other outdoor design elements are his paints and paintbrushes. It’s what he loves about his job. “I really enjoy creating things for people using my imagination,” he says. “It’s about giving my clients what they want to see. They may not know exactly what they want or how to go about it. But I’m there to help them realize that vision.”
Design Scape started in 2006 as a way for Elio to put his building skills and love of the outdoors to work. The company specializes in construction services, building what people envision as their perfect outdoor space. “Our main focus is interlocking driveways and patios,” Elio says. “We also do fences, decks, anything outdoors – really, anything and everything you can think of, that’s what we do. In fact, that’s our motto: We make your vision a reality.”
