Second Time Around Tire Sales

Took my car in a month ago, had 2 front tires replaced. Today trying to take tires off, to do brakes and told whoever put them on tighten bolts so tight that some won't come off using 1150 torque gun. Should have been torqued on 140, and this gun should have been more than enough. Shop says nothing they are going to do about, and to call them back in a few weeks.

Horribly shady! Did a seasonal tire swap and a two weeks later, a tire rolled off when our son was driving on the 401. When he pulled over, the tow truck driver said two of the other tires were also hanging off. We met with with the owner who was accommodating to start and said he would cover the repair costs. His “best guy” did the work. He said they would pull camera footage. All BS. It’s been 6+ wks and we are still out a car and the sketchy owner has dropped off the planet. DON’T GO!

Can't say enough how glad my wife was that we went to Second Time around. The manager Jim took great care.of our needs and supplied us with great tires and rims at a great price. We will become regular customers for sure. Give them a try. I did on recommendation of my buddy Johnny. He was right. Excellent.

I bought a set of new rims from them and the clear coat on the rims started peeling off after just 8 months and after several weeks because they were no longer in production they gave me a new set of rims but a different design as they had no more of the rims I bought. The second set also peeled and again are no longer in production and the person at Second Time Around in Oshawa kept telling me that he his trying to get the rep To look into it but this has been going for 3 months still no luck.

I took my SUV in to get new tires and I got a Great deal and my tires are doing graet a year later. I am calling in today to get my van done now and I know I will get great service with a graet price

I purchased 2 snow tires from Second Time Around Tire for my VW to be put on my existing rims. The service person broke my lock nut key did not tell me it was broken. I was told that the lock nut was seized and would need to be removed by a mechanic. I bought a new lock nut key and took my car to a VW dealership where they switched the second tire and I was informed that the lock nut was a little tight but not seized. I cost me extra money and a lot of extra time. Won't be back
