Clarkson Fish Chips

Regular customers - placed order for 1 fish & chips and 2 extra fish. Husband Larry picked it up - as usual - chips dry and hard - still sitting here. Fish so crispy - did not eat - still sitting here - regular customers - but perhaps no longer. Fish was always the best.

It was a foggy Friday 'nite & RIGHT after seeing the first 02 reviews, I ventured out w' my dog. Luckily it was not packed. I met 02 regulars & they said the place is usually packed on Fridays--maybe the fog is keeping them away. Can you believe this guy has been here for over 30 years & I thought I had tried each and every fish and chip place in Mississauga. One previous review commented on the excellent batter and I thought, no way, batter always has an after taste....nope....no after taste. I told the cook if I feel like driving this far again, I will be back, fer sure.

The wife and I looked all over Toronto and Mississauga for a good fish & chip shop. And finally we found Clrkson fish and chips. It's great the fish is light and battered just right. The staff is great Rose and Liz make you feel like part of the family. I'm a repreat customer for as long and their still there. Dave D.

The fish here is always fresh and they have specials every week that are unbelieveable in size - you can split them. The chips are handcut and delicious you can't get better fish and chips anywhere outside of England. Friday nights are the busiest so either call your order in ahead or line up for pick up.

How much of anything can you eat frequenlty. These fush and chips keep me coming back at least once a week. This is the only place I have that comes close to English Style. The Chips are fresh and taste amazing. The Fish is light and fluffy. I will remain a loyal customer as long as they are around.
