Emirates Airline

I wanted to like Emirates, I even paid more for the privilege of flying them. However, service was below standard and the general level of comfort was no better than a discount airline. They were also quick to charge substantial extra fees for things like seat selection and a few extra kilos of luggage. I would not fly them again unless they were the cheapest option relative to competition. Not sure how they are so highly rated among airline industry.
