It was awesome as always staff are awesome but you do usually have to wait to be seated in the dining room but it is more than worth the wait
For a chain I expected More I think it is overrated and pricy I am going to check into idependent restaurants next time I felt ripped off by the price you pay there
the keg projects a nice pretty exterior, but needs a tune up on service. this keg failed to meet 'keg' expectation so next time we're in the mood for steak we'll venture somewhere else to try; then likely come back to see if things have improved. quite noisy. waitress should have taken her bad day out on someone else.
The Keg, Always an instant classic. A rare baseball steak as the perfect dinner, and end to the day. It can be pricey, but it is worth it, and at the end of the meal I was completely satisfied. We were fifteen minutes late for our reservation and the service was excellent! Drinks were plentiful, and the atmosphere was great. One of my favorite classic places to dine in Barrie.
Easily, the best meal we've had in a very, very long time! The service was great - our server (Jason) was attentive, but not overbearing. He clearly knew what he was doing! Our food came quickly and was hot - excellent experience!

The fod was amazing, lots f it and the service was outstanding. they were very attending, polite, pleasant well informed and promped. They will see me back for sure I have never been there and it was well worth my money and time well spend. Thank you for a great evening.
Best Steak in Barrie. the entire plate of food was soo good. the garlic mashed potatoes, grilled veggies. Steak was cooked to perfection. As long as you avoid Friday and Saturday after about 5:30 (either go early, or during the week), you won't be disappointed.
Fabulous service, the food was amazing! The Keg honestly has the best steaks in town! I will not order steaks from any other restaurant! Definitly give them a try!
The keg is great when you want a reliable good meal. It's usually not very exciting food, but always good. I find they have excellent service (other than the waiting time, which on weekends is obscene) Prime ribs is great. They have soemthing kinda funky going on with the lighting (it dims and then brightens many times during your meal) which is a little annoying, but and other wise nice casual atmosphere.
For starters; the mere fact that our wait was over 2 hours just to get in was a huge downer. We had tried calling ahead for reservations only to be told by phone that they do not take reservations; we arrive, agree to wait, and the greeter says "did you not make a reservation"? apparently whomever answered the phone that day made a mistake. gggrrr. Foof was okay, but again, long long wait. Waitress I think was having a bad day but whatever. Some of our food had to go back for either the wrong thing, or cold. I think people expect more when going to the Keg than just fast food...but really its just a fast food sorta atmosphere with half decent steak and a good place to meet friends and take kids...but then again, so is any place really. The Keg is just ok, very very very loud...so dont try to take a date and get to know them with small talk.. So next time, I probably would not wait around.
