On Feb. 23, I took my Mum(93) to Skipper Jacks for Smelts and when we arrived were told they had run out but just waiting for their supplier. We weren't able to wait and they kept apologizing but we started to leave when Jonathan from the kitchen and said he would go buy some and would be back in 15 minutes, we sat and in 20 minutes, Mum was enjoying the best smelts she had ever eaten. They certainly went an extra mile for us and as it is so hard to get Mum out we cannot THANK them enough. Peggy
I had to pop by since i heard thru a friend they served halibut fish n chips, im a big fan of fish n chips....so tonight i ordered the halibut fish n chips with a side of rice instead of fries.....
The halibut was a large peice.. probabaly at least 6 or 7 ounces, it was cooked spot on and i was definetely impressed with the quality.
By far the best fish in town
My wife had the coconut shrimp with sweet potato fries, they camewith a fruit marmalade sauce, shewas as equally impressed as i was and we have found ourselves a new place to frequent
