Orestes Restaurant

My honey and I just moved to town about a week ago from Vancouver and were looking for a place to get a decent meal that did not include pizza or burgers. I am happy to report that the roast lamb dinner at Orestes is the best I have ever had! Not only was it delicious, but the portion size was quite manly. Will definitely be going back for more.

We had the delight of having dinner here while visiting family in Port Alberni, they had raved about the place. Four of us shared the Combination Platter # 1, as we were not very hungry. All of us love Greek food and this place had the best tsatsiki, moussaka and calamari we have ever had. I highly recommend this place to locals and visitors. Booking another reservation for this coming weekend!

I was under the idea that a Greek Restaurant would not meet my needs in the food I was use to. I was surprised at the food, it was great, the owner treated you as an old friend, something that is missing to day in the restaurant business, the servers were excellent in their duties, I would recommend this restaurant to any one that lives in Port Alberni or who is visiting Port Alberni, you will not be disappointed.
